Ameesha Patel will showcase her dark side in filmmaker Susi Ganeshan’s upcoming flick, Shortcut Romeo. The actor had to work hard for the film as she had to show her evil side, which was not an easy task for her. She even walked the red carpet at the recently concluded Cannes film festival in France to promote the film About how she brought out demons emotions from within, Ameesha says, “This was the most challenging role for me. This film has a mix of emotions, it has adultery, blackmailing, cunningness, love and passion.”“During shoots I use to get both mentally and physically drained. For every scene, I had to bring a demon in me, which is not my personality in real life. After reaching home, I used to be exhausted and would be left with no energy to do anything,” she adds.Shortcut Romeo is a remake of Susi Ganeshan’s super hit Tamil film, Thiruttu Payale. It is expected to release on June 21.
